This edition of "Let's make music fun!" contains over twenty songs suitable for all young children up to and including key stage 2. Each song is catchy and easy to learn, including actions and movement to stimulate response. Each song tells a story, helping to create not only a musical atmosphere, but also develops the child's sense of creativity from many different angles. The songbook is also peppered with many useful and easy to use teaching ideas that not only deal with the activities at hand, but also give a thorough base of theoretical understanding. The book includes songs that are catchy and easy to learn, songs that help phrasing, speech and topical learning, that include actions and movement to stimulate response to musical concepts, songs with percussion accompaniments to encourage rhythmic learning and dynamic control, songs that tell a story helping to create a musical atmosphere with sound effects and songs that include rounds and part-songs to help develop listening skills and confidence in group performance.

This children's song book also comes with two CD's, the first of which contains a performance of each song, and the second CD has accompaniment to each melody; something that will help the child develop a greater understanding of composition and dynamics as it matches and supplements what they will have already learnt.

Following her training at the Royal College of Music, Eileen Diamond has taught and entertained a great number of children, including those with special needs. Eileen's songs have also been used on many children's TV programmes including Play School and The Tweenies
