After testing, we decided to include these Bontempi musical drum toys on our website because we discovered something rather special about them. When we took it out of the box, it was discovered that there was a skin on the back, but what's this? We thought.
There were 5 large buttons which were easy to push and 2 small ones. The centre one when pressed played upbeat catchy tunes which varied when pushed. The 4 other large buttons made percussion sounds which when mixed in with the tunes, gave the experience of mixing and making DJ music. Also, the 2 smaller buttons generated the scratching of a record and both sounded different, these sounds could also be mixed in with the rest of the tunes. So that's what we discovered, all in all a DJ music set for little ones. Now don't forget, on the back of the drum is a toy drum skinned surface complete with a beater. The beater can also be played at the same time as the electronic music on the other side because the green handle is conveniently placed so that the child can reach both sides and used them at the same time.
