We think this is an excellent first Bontempi electronic keyboard because it's light and therefore easy to carry around. The organ is easy to play too, because the instructions on the keyboard are easy to follow for adults as well as most children around the age of 5. It was actually designed for children in mind by Bontempi who for many years have been world renowned for their organs and keyboards. Interestingly, we have had singers buy this from us to help get their starting notes when singing, because it is light and easily portable.
As well as volume control, there are 4 buttons which are used to numerically select 14 pre-recorded songs which you can play to at the same time. You can change the sound of the keys from piano to trumpet, xylophone, guitar, organ flute, violin and clarinet. You can select rhythms such as the waltz, samba, march, 8 beat, rock, disco, blues and bossa. There are also 4 drum pads with sounds from drums and cymbals to perform manual rhythmic sequences. You can make recordings of your music and play it back.
