This is a top quality Bontempi children's electronic keyboard with microphone designed by Bontempi. After testing, we chose this fun keyboard because not only does the keyboard sound good and have great features, but children can create and record their own musical pieces after which they can be played back. When children first start playing a keyboard, we think it can be hard playing and singing at the same time, so by using the recording facility both can be achieved at once at a very early stage. When they get better and more confident at playing young children can then move on to both playing and singing.
The microphone is really flexible as it can be bent very easily towards the user which helps to stop any stooping. This colourful electronic keyboard has 32 keys. The keys can play 8 different sounds: piano, organ, violin, trumpet, mandolin, bell, music box and guitar. There are 8 rhythms to choose from: slow rock, rock, new-age, disco, march, waltz, samba and blues and all their tempos can be slowed or speeded up. You can control the volume too! There are 4 buttons on the side of the children's keyboard which play drum and cymbal noises and they can be changed to play a bird chirp, a duck sound, a frog sound and a dog bark - which all add to the fun. There are 8 demo songs to sing along to and children can play them all in succession or one by one.
On the back of our box there are 4 songs, 'Happy Birthday', 'Jingle Bells', 'Oh! Susanna' and 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' which children can play using a coloured numbering system.
