This children's songbook 'Michael Finnigin, tap your chinigin' contains a collection of 31 new songs created from traditional melodies for children aged around 6-7 years. It's ideal for both parents and practitioners working with young children because no music ability is required to follow this songbook. The songs use melodies you are likely to already know (such as The Grand Old Duke of York, The Mulberry Bush etc.) just different words - so you can be confident in singing with children. This book follows on from Bobby Shaftoe for younger children (see link below).

The book is designed into 7 sections each covering one element in music such as high and low sounds, sounds of different lengths, speed and volume etc. For each section there are also around two suggested activies. Also contains photocopyable activity cards.
