When most people see this chime bell set what do you think is their first question? - Why on earth are there so many mallets for these chime bar bells? The answer is really clever. Each chime bar bell has its own seperate sound chamber which means that each chime bell can be taken out individually and distributed to a maximum of 8 children together with their very own mallet! We think it's a great way to teach children music, giving them ownership of one or more of the bell sounds. Sometimes its easier to give children just a small number of sounds to play, it makes them stand out, makes them feel really special because everyone can hear them. These percussion chime bar bells would be ideal in for example a school performance where all the parents and carers are the audience. Each get to hear their child play, nobody gets left out! Can you imagine the fun in trying to get the sequencing right? You could use this instrument in adult activities too, for example as an ice breaker. Adults will have a real laugh playing this and it would get them all communicating with each other. We sell many of our boomwhackers to do exactly this, but with this instrument more people get to be involved.
