This book contains over 80 very easy to follow fun music and movement activities in the form of lesson plans ideal for parents and useful for teachers of babies, toddlers, infants and young children up to around the age of 8. These wonderful lessons contain fun and exciting music games and great songs for solo singing (pitch matching) and includes both structured and unstructured movement activities and percussion instrument playing. In this music book there are also active listening lessons which include movement and playing musical instruments, using props and other visuals such as scarves and puppets that can be made by the children by following the instructions in the back of the music book. The props used with this children's music book have been especially chosen to teach music quickly and effectively. Interestingly, the songs are short and have a limited range to match children's abilities which many people don't realize is quite important when singing with children and they inlcude repetition to encourage in-tune singing. There are also songs that include both solo and group singing parts with games.
