When most people see this instrument what do you think is their first question? - Why on earth are there so many mallets for these music chime bar bells? The answer is really clever. Each music chime bar bell has its own seperate sound chamber which means that each chime bell can be taken out individually and distributed to a maximum of eight children together with their very own mallet! We think it's a great way to teach children music, giving them ownership of one or more of the bell sounds. Sometimes its easier to give children just a small number of sounds to play, it makes them stand out, makes them feel really special because everyone can hear them.
